THERMYS 150 Advanced Field Reference Thermometer/Temperature Calibrator
The THERMYS 150 is a high-precision recording field reference thermometer suitable for thermocouples (14 types), resistance probes (12 types), and thermistors, with accuracy up to 0.005% RDG.

The second channel can be used for temperature generation or measurement. When used as a dual-input thermometer, the THERMYS 150 is an ideal tool for temperature comparison calibration and differential measurements. When the second channel is used as an output, the instrument can control temperature recorders, indicators, and handheld thermometers.
Calibration tasks can be performed quickly throughout the entire process chain with this user-friendly instrument. Carry the 900-gram calibrator to the field throughout the week, with 10 calibration programs stored in the device. After connecting the probe to the instrument (Easy Connect system), run the program for simple and fast on-site calibration and save the results. Back in the office, you can upload the data to a computer and use the dedicated calibration software DATACAL to issue customized calibration certificates.
The THERMYS 150 complies with 21 CFR Part 11 and NADCAP heat treatment standards, offering extended features (temperature simulation, scaling, steps, synthesizer, statistical functions...) and audit trails, making advanced utilization and traceability easier.
With an IP54 rating and fully protected by a rubber anti-shock case, the THERMYS 150 integrates "EasyConnect" terminals and a wide window glass display, making it easy to use in any harsh or dark environment.
Easy Connect System
Simply press the top of the terminal, insert a 3 mm or 10 AWG diameter wire, and connect the compensated thermocouple connector to attach the probe.
Wires are held tightly between two brass plates to ensure thermal stability and provide excellent cold junction compensation for thermocouples.
The system also allows for the connection of 4 mm banana plugs and safety connectors on the terminals.

Accuracy is given at 0°C for reference.
When using the internal reference junction (except for Group B), an additional uncertainty of 0.2°C is added at 0°C.
Can be selected by programming the cold junction location (except for thermocouple B): external 0°C, internal (temperature-compensated at the instrument terminals), or manually entered.

Thermistors: Measurement
With a 50 kΩ range and integration of the Steinhart-Hart equation, thermistors can be input into the THERMYS 150 and tested.
The Steinhart-Hart equation is as follows:
